Work is a necessary evil. I like working because I need to have a purpose to every day but it just about kills me when I have other things I need or desperately want to be doing (like, let's say making jewellery). The issue is I am too scared to let go of a steady pay cheque to chase down a dream that may or may not work. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my job for the most part. Some days (like yesterday) I feel like it is sucking the life out of me but other days I wake up and look forward to going in. I am at the point though where I am figuring out if I can do jewellery full time or not. Leaning towards no but we'll see.

In other news, a fellow jewellery designer in the Toronto area is going to be holding a show in October and has extended the entry date. If you are an artisan living in the GTA feel free to check out the application found
here. Sounds like it is going to be a great event and the fees are pretty low as well which is also nice! If I wasn't already booked into the Vineland Show I would be applying for sure!
